Deposit Alternatives Announces Strategic Partnership with EEI.
Deposit Alternatives announces a strategic relationship with the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), supporting initiatives to reimagine security deposit solutions.
The Deposit Alternatives Plan
Our Deposit Alternative Plan (DAP) offers electric utility customers the choice of a smaller, nonrefundable charge-usually 50% of a traditional deposit-at activation and guarantees reimbursement to utilities if a DAP-enrollee customer defaults.

“I’m so glad the DAP option was available because it saved us money at the time. Moving was very expensive, and we had to pay deposits for several other utilities as well. I’m really grateful an offer like DAP was available for our family. I don't know what we would have done otherwise.”
Customer comment provided during an electric utility's annual survey.
