Georgia Power Foundation - Workforce for Georgia Grant

This month’s "Spotlight on Good" focuses on the Workforce for Georgia Grant Program, a partnership between Georgia Power and the Georgia Foundation for Public Education.

The Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. is inviting College & Career Academies (CCA) and school districts with one or more Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) programs in the state of Georgia to submit grant proposals to support Workforce Development. Through this funding, the Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. seeks to invest in building or sustaining capacity at CCA and CTAE to better serve students and instructors and in program alignment of educational and training pathways to meet workforce needs of businesses in local communities.

The Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. will consider proposals meeting the following criteria:

  • Public schools, school systems, or College & Career Academies in Georgia; private schools are not eligible.

  • Only one submission per school district is allowable; more than one submission will disqualify all applications from the district.

  • The Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. does not support organizations whose policies or actions discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

  • The Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. does not support projects designed to mitigate legal or regulatory compliance obligations or tied to ongoing legal or regulatory action.
