N95 masks are crucial pieces of safety equipment for those in healthcare. When COVID-19 became a public crisis, Portland General Electric wanted to help by donating inventory.

In March 2020, the Portland General Electric team donated over 9,000 masks to local healthcare partners.
In addition to the donation of N-95 masks, PGE and the PGE Foundation committed more than $1 million to educational programs in their region and to help address food insecurity and other immediate needs through donations to the Oregon Food Bank, Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon, Marion Polk Food Share, and the Oregon Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Community Recovery Fund.

Finally, PGE shared resources to encourage their customers to support others within their community through a series of website links.
